A message from Inspiración Herself!
We are thrilled you are pursuing higher education! One of the great things about education is that no one can take it away from you! Knowledge is power. Hopefully, through your college years, you will gain not only an education but also a network of like-minded people that will support you through your personal and professional development.
Heading off to college might seem scary, daunting, and may even cause anxiety. Embraces all of that, and focus on the possibilities and opportunities. Over the coming years, you will have a chance to write a new chapter in your life, and set the stage to the start of your career and the rest of your life. It may seem overwhelming sometimes, but as the famous Chinese proverb says, "A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step." Step forward, lean in, and embrace the uncertainty. Set goals for yourself and commitment to yourself! You get to write this chapter. Own it. Follow your heart; follow your dreams. It's often hard to ignore the desires and expectations of others (especially our parents, family, and love ones). The sooner and earlier you learn to focus on your goals and aspirations, and commit to yourself, the sooner you will be on your way to greatness! Believe in yourself. We believe in you!
